Precious Paws is a mobile ultrasound service based in Windsor, Ontario. We will travel to your veterinary clinic/hospital of choice to perform on-site ultrasound exams. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging tool that is used to aid in the diagnosis of many illnesses and disease processes. When the imaging is performed on-site, clients and their pets benefit from less travel and more cost effective care and treatments that are kept within the local facility.

All imaging is performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who is registered with ARDMS and Sonography Canada and has completed certification/additional training in small animal ultrasound. All exams will be sent and interpreted by a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist and a report will be sent to your clinic within 48 hours.

State of the art equipment

All ultrasounds are performed with the brand new GE Logiq e R8. This new state of the art equipment provides unprecedented image quality.

We have two ultrasound probes for our machines - the 8C microconvex and the L12 Linear. This allows us to interrogate and obtain the best quality images regardless of patient's size. By having two different ultrasound probes with varying frequencies, we are able to change our probes throughout the exam when assessing different organs/body parts and provide the best quality imaging.

Professional and Specialized Staff

Each exam will be performed by a ARDMS and Sonography Canada Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who has certifications in small animal sonography.

All imaging will be sent to a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist who will then interpret and report each study.

After the exam is performed, all reports are sent to your facility within 24 hours. For an additional telemedicine fee, you may request a stat turnaround.
